I don't think the way I want to practice law exists yet. I think it's getting there, similar to TRE, but not quite.

In 2015, a friend and I sat next to each other in a contracts law class, but over the next three years only smiled as we passed each other in the library. Then, in 2018, we were thrown together into the fire that is the Jessup moot court competition. For 6 months we laughed and argued and cried. A friendship was formed alongside a deep love and passion for international law.

Once we got over the post-Jessup blues and each spent hours upon hours researching how we could break into the international law field as young students or graduates, we decided there was so much lacking for our generation. We as a generation have so much to offer, but there wasn't anywhere to offer it! So, we came up with the idea for the Article 33 Institute. It remained un-named for a while, just an outline sketch in our heads. Then it ended up on the back-burner as we both decided to embark on the Jessup journey for a second time. However, after Jessup 2020 was cancelled and we along with half the world sat in isolation, we thought there was no better time to dig out the idea and bring it to life.

We started the Article 33 Institute to engage students and young professionals in international law. We hope to inspire innovative approaches and critical thinking on issues faced by international law in an ever-changing international climate.

A33I aims to provide a forum for discussion and debate on prevalent, and emerging trends in international law and affairs. By targeting youth and young professionals, the institute seeks to educate and expand the next generation’s knowledge, skills, and experience, not only in all aspects and areas of international law (including public international law, private international law, and supranational law), but also in global governance, international affairs and the work of international and regional courts and tribunals.

unique products for spoonies

🥄 Many chronic illness warriors spend a lot of time at home, for me that means rotating between my bed and the couch.

🏠 Any home has decorations and decor, but there’s something unique about what us spoonies need from our spaces.

🔆 Our homes aren't just where we sleep, they're the safe spaces where we can flare in peace and relative comfort, where our heat packs and medications live, and where we gather our strength before heading into the outside world to face the day.

❗️It is completely okay for us to ask more of our spaces.

🙋🏼‍♀️ I'm here to help you do that. - to curate a space perfectly suited to you and your health and encouragement needs.

🛍 The products in my shop are ALL about making the spaces you spend your best and worst moment in encouraging, calming, and all the other good things you need as a chronic illness warrior.
